I am not sure that it is a bad idea. I think some hardcovers are a little overpriced for what they are. Recently I purchased Brad Thor's newest novel in hardback full priced. It was light, finished it in a few hours and it wasn't very good. It wasn't worth the 20+ dollar price for it. So in that regard I would much rather pay 10 bucks for an ebook of it.
However on the other side, I do enjoy ...

I too very much enjoy pen and ink, but I also love the kindle iphone app. I've gotten know into the habit of having two books going - one paper book that I read at home in the evening, and one I read on the iphone on the train, at lunch, etc.
I've been stunned at the easy format.

So what if Gibson is biased? So what if 2 or 3 network news anchors are biased? Hasn't the historic role of the media always been to help give voice to people and issues who otherwise wouldn't have had a voice? Like a mother whose son was killed in a war?
If you don't like hearing about the weak & downtrodden, go watch Fox. Or listen to talk radio. You won't hear any of that biased anti...
Everyone has their own views. But that means nothing. What matters is how they do their job. Everyday is a task of deciding what to cover, with many varying criteria. For profit means putting up something that attracts viewers. That's why we got MJ coverage ad nausaum. No matter what they do, however, someone will see their not covering what they think they should as biased reporting.

When was that time again? If you look at the actual history of journalism, you'll find anything but a lack of bias. Before radio ...

I'm assuming you didn't bother to read the nine errors. Britain's nationalised rail network was broken up and privatised several years ago, ostensibly to make financial savings through "efficient" private ownership. The rail track and infrastructure is run by one company, and the rail services by several competing companies. " Network Rail staff were told to travel to a conference by coach because train travel was too expensive. The cost of 200 employees making a...
