I was planning on taking my new Tactical Custom HD II to the range this weekend, but was lucky enough to find some time on Wednesday to take her to the indoor range thats about 2 min away from my house. I got to the range, loaded her up, and let the lead fly. I am absolutely amazed at the accuracy. It was literally jaw dropping! After seeing my targets, a couple of guys came over and asked me ...
Great shootin' with that thing. I was going to get the HD, but went with a Valor instead. Looks like I would have been just as happy with the performance of the HD.
Thanks guys! I have to agree with the looks I've been really happy with it so far. Between me and two buddies, we put another 150 rounds of WWB/Magtech through it earlier today and it shot great again
It did lock back early once. It happened to my buddy, not me, which makes me think the bullet is hitting the slide stop lug. If I call Kimber and ask them about it, do yall think they'll...
I certainly would contact Kimber and just tell them what the problem is. Let them suggest sending you a modified slide stop. I've found I have better luck with Kimber CS if I just state the problem and let them take it from there.
By the way, great looking pistol. Enjoy it.
Best regards.

Great shooting. Nice to see a picture of a "dirty" Kimber after shooting. Most posts only show them clean and sparkling. They can and do get dirty.

My Kimber did the same thing with Hydra-Shok. I took a file to mine but I'd think CS would help you out.
