Frey was fantastic in the second half, and if Fiorentina had equallised it would have been due to his great heroics. Toulalan did well for Lyon as a makeshift centre-back due to his tackling accuracy.

Good win for Lyon, but the Gilardino Red card was totally uneccessary and I have never seen such a pathetic decision, as he is Fiorentinas playmaker, like ASF said, the game would have been a much closer affair.
