What are the readings supposed to be for the S5 Electric OMP position sensor? I founrd a great thread about testing the OMP beyond the FSM. I did that and everything tested great on the OMP. I am getting Code 20. This is...

Someone??? Come on guys, there has to be an answer here. Can someone run a quick test on a known working OMP Position sensor? It would not take long.

So you went through all of the steps in the FSM for checking the OMP I assume. I looked at the FSM and it says code 20 could be caused by "open or short circuit in position sensor wiring, open or short circuit between ECU and position sensor, loose connection of position sensor or ECU. To me it sounds more plausable than something like a loose connection would be your problem rather than 3 omp's,...

the way the thing works is the ecu outputs a signal to the stepper motor, and then has a position sensor to make sure the pump moved where it was supposed to. its exactly like a drive by wire throttle body. but if the manual says open or short, that really should be what you're looking for first...
