Thread: Oil Light on Dash

hey guys picked my new ibiza 1.4, up yesterday and was happily driving it home until (beep beep beep) and flashing red light with oil squirter logo came up, i checked my oil it was low so boguth some and filled it up, still having problem with the light tho it seams to come on when i go up hills more than anything else and when the engine temp is at 90 degrees. anybody got any help or ...

It depends on the light that's flashing. The coolant issue only applies if the red light flashes within the temp gauge on the dash, not the oil light.

got the problem sorted took it back to the dealership i bought my car from they put it through a code reader and replaced the faulty part works fine now and it was FREE as well lol
