Thread: Oil Filter?

This might seem like a dumb question, but... I had a couple of oil filters to use up, and never saved the ones I threw away. Now I'm out, and need a new filter, but can't really pull mine off to compare at the local parts store, cause I need the truck to drive over there... and can't just tell them my engine, cause of course, noone in the US has ever heard of this engine. So, what size/...

ha, uh, yeah, forgot that the rest of the world doesn't know my engine off the top of their head... it's the mechanical 2LT, that is, 2LT-II. Thanks Spruce

Check Toyodiy.com for part #s, I'd be surprised if it's not carried in the US toyota parts system. That doesn't necessarily mean you can run down to your local dealer and grab one, but they can probably special order in a couple days. At least that's how it is for my Non-US market 1KZ-TE. By the way, I'd stay away from aftermarket filters. On the 1KZ-TE, toyota uses a pretty advanced dual-...
