Glad to see things are being moved.
Here's the deck I'll be testing tonight, it's been working pretty well in playtesting on MWS.
Wam-Pee-Rays // Lands 3 Marsh Flats 3 Verdant Catacombs 17 Swamp // Creatures 2 Bloodghast 4 Gatekeeper of Malakir 4 Vampire Lacerator 4 Vampire Nocturnus 4 Vampire Hexmage 3 Malakir Bloodwitch 2 Vampire ...
Kinda sad that we lost all the disscussion from the last thread, but glad to see these forums actually put to use.
The deck I would be running tonight (though I might borrow it off to someone) if I wasn't going to a friend's Birthday Party.
Deck Lands: 24 4x Marsh Flats 16x Swamps 4x Verdant Catacombs Creatures: 21 4x Bloodghast 4x Gatekeeper of Malakir...
My first outing with vampies @ FNM. I'm not much of a player (rating ~1600), so 2-2 was a fair result. Can only hope to get better.
Deck Creatures 3 Vampire Hexmage 3 Bloodghast 4 Gatekeeper of Malakir 4 Vampire Nighthawk 3 Vampire Nocturnus 3 Malakir Bloodwitch Spells 4 Sign in Blood 4 Quest for the Gravelord 4 Disfigure 2 Mind Sludge 3 ...

Maybe a more aggro build (+Lacerator) might be needed against Jund? I'd appreciate hearing peoples experience against Jund with a Lacerator...

(I think that could be a problem for all Vamp Decks) I barely SB in knight vs Jund... I SB it in vs Aggro decks such as Boros, RDW,...

This right here is why I find the argument between the 2 easy. Run...

Oh and someone pleasee help. How do you think MB Vamps vs http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazin...daily/deck/313 will do? It looks hella annoying to deal with since they can counter our removal spells, QQ. Plus, most of the creatures in that deck are out of Infest/Casualties range...I'm thinking about playing my Land Disruption deck if I have to play against this lol. Only thing I can think of now that would work great against that deck is...

http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showp...postcount=1691 Thats my states list- I'll admit I was a bit greedy running 23 land and 61 cards, but 4 SiB 2 GD made it work well enough. V.S. Jund -3 Disfigure +3 Deathmark -3 Hexmage +3 quest. Hope to draw quest with bloodghast or gatekeeper. Quest on the board actually makes bloodghast a problem for them. It also makes gatekeeping a thirnax not as terrible. Turn 5 sludge is obviously ideal.
you know, thats exactly what i thought lol, im gunna have to find a spot to fit it back in because its what i removed for the Jacerator Hate, that i didnt get to play >( id never had any issue with tokens until tonight and it was quite annoying. anyway, id like to get a chance to actually test out my Jacerator Hate before changing it, but i might just drop something like 1 Slave and the Unstable Footings.

I draw the land, play it, bring in two bloods...
