Thread: Odometer & Trip meter

The odometer & trip meter stopped working in my car the other day. I know I can probably find a new trip someplace with out any trouble but how can I fix the odometer?

I would start by checking fuses and see if thats why it dosent work.

This happened to my 98 Mustang last year. i took out the instrument cluster and saw that the odometer and trip wheel gears were broken, these parts are plastic and several teeth had come off which would prevent the trip and odometer from working. I would start there. I was able to go to a junk yard to get another instrument cluster and replaced the broken odometer with the one from the junkyard....
