Could she have done things better? Absolutely, but life can screw you up, and the national spotlight didn't help matters, no. If she can do her job right, her personal life ought to be a minor issue, like everyone else.

I'm not a big Sarah Palin fan myself but this jerk is just looking for attention and he's getting it. He can say anything he wants and some people will believe it. I wonder if he even thinks that some day his son will be able to read and he'll find out what a no class weasel his dad really is.

Were I Bristol Palin, I'd file a restraining order against this moron, and then sue for sole custody of their child. Lesson learned, kiddies : be careful who you fool around with, or you may be connected to them for life. Urk. I've always admired John McCain and think he would've made a good president either times that he's run (just wasn't the nominee the last time), but he really should've picked someone other...

A further OT...A republican candidate for senate from NY is dropping out because of Palin's focus on her-to her detriment. The candidate, whose name escapes me, has lost funding. The only other republican candidate, a guy named Hoffman, is a favorite of Rush Limbaugh, and he better not win!
