As a loyal fan of Optimum Nutrition I decided to go ahead and purchase both flavors of Platinum Hydrowhey after hearing all this hype about this new super protein. I have been ...
Thanks for the review with all the number crunching you did.
But really none of that is the purpose of hydrowhey. The entire point of taking a hydrolyzed whey is because it is supposed to get to your muscles faster than standard whey protein does. Only one calculation was off, the fact that I calculated from 24g protein instead of 29.4g serving for the BCAA Gold standard calculation. My apologies and thank you N54 for your assistance!
There are 18% BCAA in the Gold standard. 4% less than the Hydrowhey.
So that would mean the Hydrowhey provides about 1 gram more of BCAAs than Gold Standard (using the 29 gram serving dose from Gold ...

That assumes you usually use 1.5-2 scoops post. If you only do 1 scoop then do 1/2 and 1/2. I really don't...
