Not a big fan of the direct touch heatpipes. Too many gaps and the need to use too much thermal paste.

Well they seem to be going at the 2k mark elsewhere, so gettung it from IC may not be a bad idea

I saw a flyer that stated IC has a special on tomorrow morning for a few hours only. Don't know what they have on special as I never took time to read it as I flew out the door already late for work. I looked for info on their garish site but couldn't find...

It's a lot bigger, a lot. I personally find PC Zone better with prices though and their customer support/help is 10x is better.
