Any comments.. any TomTom competitor maybe that I should go for instead? Yeah, any buying advise right now would be awesome

RCA is just the name of the connector. it doesn't specify anything about the actual signal carried by the cable. As such, you WILL find people who will try to sell you a simple passive connector to do the job. Rest assured this will most likely not work. The only cases where this WILL work are if 1) Your DVD player does a true Component RGB output. This will require 3 RCA cables, but should...

I have a Mecer LT300 TV Box . I see Kalahari is out of stock though. I think I paid just under R400 for it and it works great! Remote control and alles.

I went for the E6300 and a Gigabyte MB. Total is R1700. I reckon I can just sell or bin that in a year and get an i5 or i7 or whatever is mainstream by then. The Virtual Threading on the E6300 appealed to me and since I don't need high res, I don't think I'll even bother overclocking from what I've read. Thanks for all the advice. Maybe just remove aero and then apply it again? Did you not fresh install windows 7? Upgrading for me never ends well.

Not a big fan of the direct touch heatpipes. Too many gaps and the need to use too much thermal paste.

It's a lot bigger, a lot. I personally find PC Zone better with prices though and their customer support/help is 10x is better.
