Well, I came in here to rant about office politics but then I read clawme's post. Sheesh, I do think schools are worse than corps. clawme , I hope things get better for you. Anyway, my boss's boss got fired last week and my group is now leaderless. The VP brought us (8 people total) over to the operations and development group. He welcomed us warmly by telling us that the field team thinks our group (retail training) sucks. Thanks...

Well, the last 48 hours SUCKED. Big time. I had some abdominal pain on Friday, figured it was just the usual ( I have always had painful periods etc.) but then Friday night I was up in the hayloft sliding bales down for the next day... and WHAM! OMG. Blinding, searing, shooting pain. Like someone stuck a red hot poker through my left side and it was melting all down (and through) my left leg. It took me half an hour to get down the loft...

shady, sounds to me like you're infected with the conficker virus that went "live" on April 1 and has been spreading ever since. All I remember about it is that if you're infected it won't let you go to any antivirus sites--which is what it sounds like is happening to you.
