That's what I'm talkin about!!!! I am sooooo ready!!!
I'm ready. Hitting the ATM this morning for my monthly cash and then off to a couple stores. I really want to try and come in under budge this month. Luckily I don't have to do anything for Thanksgiving except maybe bake a desert and I have that in the stockpile.
Happy shopping everyone.
Ok, I confess. I had to go to BJ's yesterday to renew my membership and to use the $10 off coupon (both expired 10/31), I had to use my MasterCard (debit for us). So, I shopped a day early AND didn't use cash. However, I'll be hitting the cash system from here on out & will only put the balance of what I can use this week in the envelope.
I did well yesterday - knowing what things costs...
OK, I know that I went over last month...I don't even know by how much, but I hate pregnancy...all the cravings and tiredness (so wanting to make something easy) drive up my grocery bill. I don't want to figure it out...because I'll get depressed...and it doesn't matter anyway...what is done is done! We even ordered pizza one day and had Chipotle one day...that hits my $50 weekly pretty hard....
I went over alst month (supporting 3 households) so I'm adjusting up for this month but going to REALLY TRY to get a handle on this. My list is ready this morning and I'm going to the meat market and fruit stand today to save a little more.
HERE WE GO!!!!!
Budget: $500.00
Happy shopping everyone!
I go back to work tomorrow so I'm going to try very hard to get a reign on a real budget. This past month I was able to do Food Stamps plus what I had set aside from Unemployment to do more shopping than I normally would have (though I definitely spent FAR less than normal). I was at around $350 total for October. So I'm going for $300 for November. I figure if I kiddie step the number down ...
I am ready! Happy November!
I'm sticking with my $180 budget for November. I already have most everything that I need for Thanksgiving, and what I don't have I'm sure will be on my lists soon and I'll just fold into my weekly trips.
Good luck everyone!
I made it last month, but was out of town for a week. I am sticking to my $100/payday, got my $$$ on this past Friday and looking at the lists, I must be a cherry picker, not much for me and lots to eat. Will be holding on to extras for Thanksgiving, that will be my first big holiday as a gamer.
My Monthly Food Budget Is 250.00. I Went Over October's Budget Because I Had Some Extra Money (didn't Expect It) That Came My Way. I Might Use That Extra Money That I Didn't Count For Within My Monthly Budget To Put In My Savings Account For A Rainy Day Or Something. I Gotta Stay Within My 250.00 Budget No Matter What This Month.........dispite The Extra Money Coming In That I Didn't Account ...
Well I bought more...I dont have the exact total in front of me. I bought all I could on the 2 rainchecks I had and I also bought 4 pkgs of batteries. I spent $35 at 2 different stores. So $70 total -$12.++ I had left. I went over budget by about $58.00, then bought a gal of milk for $3.36.......so I will say I went over by $62.00 My November total spent was right at $462.00. I wont need anything before Friday I dont think. I will be watching...

No shopping for me this week... will just be living off the stockpile... so I'll close out the month at $360, which is twice what I budgeted. But dinner tonight cost about $2, or .50 per person.

I Don't Know What To Do.............? There Is Some Hot Deals In One Of My List Stores.........i Feel Like I'm Between A Rock And A Hard Place. I'm Trying So Hard To Stick To My Monthly Budget. I Scored Some Deals Tonight At My Other List Store. I'm Working Some Extra Hours This Week.......so This May Cover It. This Isn't Fair...........lol !!
I was going to do really good and keep good track this month, but I moved some of my grocery money to my Christmas gifts and got it all jumbled up and lost track!
Mint.com told me my grocery budget was over for this... Mint.com told me my grocery budget was over for this month, I didn't realize I had a budget for groceries. Mint is now sentient...SkyNet?
