Few days ago this orange bar appeared in my iTunes when I click devices iPhone. I did not change anything I just downloaded a free application and removed it. Called Support they told me to restore, so it went from 1GB to 300Mg. Its still there. Is there a way to get rid of it? I could not find any answers on web. Thanks,...

I agree that these options should be customizable. I also really dislike the new side email/texting... It will flip randomly sometimes and you can barely read any of the previous text if you're texting sideways. Is there a way to turn that off? Macbook Pro, iPod Classic, iPhone 3G...

Is there any way to get the iPhone to produce more than two audio alerts that there is an unread text message, or unanswered voicemail? Sometimes I will set my phone down while working, and not return to my desk for 15 or 20 minutes. I won't take my phone off standby mode for an hour or two. When I do I find time sensitive texts or voicemails that I was unware came in. I would like...

The current text alert repeats two more times after the intial alert if you have the "repeat alert" turned on in Messages in settings. If you would like to see additional features, you may send feedback to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html HP p6140f; HP laptop...

In theory this should work, haven't tried it to verify. AT&T limits length to 4 mins. 1. Be in call with person. 2. Hit the button to add a call (the +). 3. Type in your phone number. 4. It will go strait to voicemail. 5. Once you here the beep, it will start recording. 6. When you hang up the call, you will get a voicemail of your recording. MacBook Pro

Not from the iPhone, no. You can call AT&T (dial 611 from your phone) and request that they deactivate SMS on your account - that will eliminate the ability to send/receive texts completely. 17" CD MBP, iPhone 3G, iPodTouch   Mac OS X (10.6.2)    since the ][e

I can tell this really bothers you, but it seems such a non event, normal, not a big deal sort of thing. Perhaps it is not as big an event as it seems to you. powerbook g4, iMac 20   Mac OS X (10.6.1)   airport express, iphone, ipod, ipod touch

AT&T is punting and somewhat misleading. Erasing numbers from a land line phone's caller ID list only erases those previous calls - the caller ID display doesn't use previous call data for new calls. I'm also dubious about the role of recipients "local small companies" (how do they define that?) in this issue. Your entire iTunes library is deleted from your computer's hard drive when launching iTunes - everything in the iTunes named folder? If so, first time I've seen this reported. Or your iTunes content is not available when launching iTunes? How did you back up your iTunes library on your old computer? Did you copy the iTunes named folder and you placed the iTunes named folder in the same location on your new computer with iTunes quit...

Was this your first telephone including a landline? Because all landline numbers are also recycled and it takes a few days for the system to be updated. There is no instant feature that in a nanosecond updates the information on any cell provider or landline system and there never has been. If having an accurate caller ID was that important and you are in the business of providing critical care you should have stated this when you got your...
