I'm more familiar with the Nortel Symposium link. Is AES the same thing? Do you use it to integrate CTI applications?

Not clear on whether you are asking about EAS or AES - two completely different things.

An AES server is the interface between the CM and adjunct devices, i.e., Genesys or recording systems.

No it is independent of CMS.. many applications can take advantage of the CTI capabilities of AES .. not just call center related applications.. CMS is essentially a reporting and agent management platform.. Dave

Thank you both. On another different note, how do you figure out how many trunks are needed to support a remote site. Lets say for example, 30 agents located at a remote call center. How do you know the number of T1 to order?
