According to Eddie at Time Factors Damasko have stopped making the 36/37 while they concentrate on the in house movement. Wonder what will happen to pre-owned prices?

I want that inner anti-magnetic case. I\'ll stick with the thickness as it is, thank you. :) another mm or 2 on the dial would be OK, but it would make the watch very heavy-' + '-diver heavy. Not sure how that would go over. This watch is definately function over form. And the dial is already legible across a crowded room...
My wife draged me into Macy\'s Sunday and going past the watch counter I spotted something different. It was Kennith Cole\'s version of the chronoscope. From a distance, dang! Case, pushers and look! But this was a 3-6-9 tri-compax and the chrono was running. Tryed to turn it off, nothing, the pushers were for show only. A fake chrono! The price, 150 USD, well at that price, what do you expect? It sure cought my eye, from about 10...
The Muhle has fine adjustment, according to the righttime link, and a couple of other in house parts (it\'s not much but hey, the fine adjustment is a genuine plus). In terms of ruggedness, the only difference i can see is the crown guards on the Sinn. Quality and reliability should be good on both.
They\'re on Damasko\'s site as an AD, so that makes me think they are reputable. http://damasko.de/eng/order.htm One would think that a reputable retailer wouldn\'t be listed on a manufacturer\'s site.
What would have been more stunning and exciting would be to hear he\'s made a bracelet available!! I\'m joking. A new movement is very exciting. I\'d like to hear details of the accomplishment, and can\'t wait to hear reviews of the movement. With the in-house movement availability, Damasko will have more time to expand their product line, not just bracelets, but maybe the DA46/47, and maybe brand new designs. Exciting stuff.
congratulations, a rare watch! i\'d love to have one and i\'m sure some others reading your note are a touch envious. visiting the website of stevens, i read a translation of their history , and it is a long history it seems. and as mentioned, they are listed by damasko as an official dealer. so i\'d say you should have full confidence in them. enjoy your new watch- it should last you a long time.
