Full functionality requires a separate Feed to each Tuner.
You need to run a second cable from the Dish and probably to upgrade the LNB to a Quad.

i have been given a sky plus box by a friend as my old amstrad one is faulty.
the house we bought had a dish so i bought the amstrad one and watch the free chanels.
The sky plus box works and allows me to record. i do find sometimes that when recording something
i wil get this message other channels state "No Satellite Signal is Being Received" all other chanels.
Also dose the dish ...

No you only need one LNB (Quad) but with two cables coming from it to your Sky + box, and you will need to give Sky a ring and get the box 'Paired' with your 'Card'
