SMALLVILLE 6.11 FAQ
What’s it called?
“Justice.”
Who’s responsible?
Teleplay is credited to Steven S. DeKnight (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Angel”).
What does TV Guide say?
“The Green Arrow, Impulse, Aquaman and Cyborg try to destroy LuthorCorp's secret laboratory, but Impulse (Kyle Gallner) is captured and tortured by Lex, ...
I hate to say it, but cancel
this now. The Superman mythos
has involved, and Smallville
(despite having had some nice
moments here and there) feels
tired and irrelevant. If they
had just skipped forward in
time and made Metropolis,
maybe they could have made a
good Supes show. But the ship
of dreans has sailed,my
friends. BUT Lana is extremely
hot. Give her a show where she
plays a lingerie ...
Well well well.The justice
teens...sounds...boring....yea
.
Smallvil le totaly fucks up
DC`s backstories,so why not go
all out.Next Darkside will
show up in the form of a
Fonzie looking bully.
No word on whether Lois is
prancing around in a top that
can barely contain her perfect
tits?
(That seems to be the order of
the day for every ep that
*does* have Lois in it,
so...just throwing it out
there).
Where they differ is, besides
the death of Jonathan Kent,
which supposedly was forced
upon the show due to Superman
Returns, Smallville doesn'
wholesale slaughter its
supporting cast at the drop of
the hat because they can't
find aything better to pull
out of their ass. And right
now, the writers over at 24
are so lazy they aren't even
pulling anymore, they're
picking the scraps of toilet
paper ...
If it was because I said 'Fuck
Smallville', I hereby
apologise. I enjoy this
Smallville very much,
particularly the scenes of car
crashes and head trauma. Also,
the ones where Clark pines
over that awful Lana Lang. I
really wanted an answer to my
Batman question, though. What
will I do now? Someone
somewhere knows what I'm
talking about...
I still can't get over his "two stars" for an episode that had the rehearsal Justice League of America, Lex Luthor getting his supervillain (complete with death-trap) on, Chloe playing "Oracle" in the "Watchtower," Lois working her awesome rack, and Lana being blissfully absent. Shit, this episode wasn't even in a sweeps month, so imagine how cool the Justice Little League vs. the Legion of Level 33.1...
Tried to sit back and enjoy...but this ep was so bad that it made me straighten up in sheer terror! That's spinal straightening, everything else retreated into my pelvis for protection. Let me tell you, that is an odd feeling. A weird tingling, yet not pleasurable. References mean nothing if it is just done in a nudge to fanboys/girls that are delievered in such a way as to seem like it's written by people who are not fans, but...
about this show being awful.. Compared to a lot of well written TV out there, yeah it is. But you have to watch stuff like this to keep the balance. Yes, Smallville is goofy and sophmoric, but it's also fun. It appeals to the kid in me. I'm an adult and my overall preference is to watch shows with fantastic writing, Sopranos when it first came out, Galactica, 24, Lost (mostly all when they first came out) but the kid in me wants to...
i have been watching the show on and off for the past few years, mostly off, thanks to the dreary teen aged angst, love triangle (or how many angles it has now) story lines...turning clark kent into a better looking peter parker, just never worked for me....what has worked is how the writers have shown lex slowly go to the darkside, and i think smallville is now more about lex than clark...and i really do appreciate the in jokes put in that...
Considering its been like two seasons since the SciFi Channel's other darling, Emmanuelle Vaughier, was on the show for a few episodes... I take that back. To get Cerina Vincent on the show, Bigfoot would have to make an appearance in Smallville because apparently there's a clause in her contracts that she has to appear in anything related to Bigfoot. I speculate she has "timber fever". She's super hot though.
