I switched to a 2AA battery LED flashlight for work about six months ago. Essentially the same thing as Matt pictured. I like it, it is a lot brighter, and it is easier on batteries. The only drawback I've come across is that the light can be hard on your eyes and it is hardly "natural" light and some colors, especially when dealing with wiring, can look a little funny, but you get used to ...
