Try calling Coan. Don't they give you one free re-stall or something like that? They have way too good a reputation to believe they won't make it right. If you filled out the tech-sheet properly (which I am sure you did) then they should be able to either fix the converter you have to do what you want, or replace it with the proper one. I toasted mine back in the '80's after raising the high stall on my switch pitch. Remember back when Kenne-Bell said you didn't need an external cooler for vp? Added a small external cooler, promptly toasted it again. I now run a temp gage, bigger external cooler and have bypassed the trans cooler in the radiator. Lessons learned - The small cooler wasn't enough for my driving habits Not having a gage meant I had no idea...
