Bringing back the old discussion thread because I think it serves for some real nice interaction. Just wanted to wish all the fathers and fathers to be associated with the WCFL a very HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
I want to thank everyone for being so nice about PPPW. I'm hoping over time it will become a full WCFL territory, but in the meantime I just hope to keep things on track. If anyone ever wants to send one of their guys on a working vacation to the Islands, let me know. Thanks to Shaq for sending Tsuruta for a tour!

All Japan has the following wrestlers available for loan this summer. The Cobra, Hiroshi Hase, John Nord, Lizmark, Mike Graham, Perro Aguayo, Shiro Koshinaka, Villano III. Let me know if you are interested in having them make an appearance or two. ,"SpiderGuard put it absolutely perfectly."

I've been trying to figure out the place to post this which is part of the reason I started up this thread again. Big WHOO BUNDY goes out to the current batch of sats in the WCFL right now which may be the best crop of sat writers we've had in quite a while which is high praise indeed. Props to the promoters for putting out great work with lesser talent. WHOO BUNDY!!!!!!!

Speaking as a SAT promoter, it may be that this batch of sats are doing a nice job because a lot of the primary promoters are doing a lot to help us. Some have went out of their way to send myself as well as others "primary talent" to borrow as we attempt to establish our promotions and other stars. That's a big difference from the last time I booked here back something like 5 years ago. So ...
Yeah, I have to echo the sentiments of the previous poster. I'd like to thank everyone who have lent me talent since Stampede started up again, they've been a huge help. I'd like Stampede to become a Primary promotion at some point, and other promoters have made it far easier to establish some of my guys. Hey, if a promoter has any former Stampede talent they'd like to send my way on loan, let...

For you Sats looking to borrow some talent, it might be better if you contacted the primaries and let them know who it is you would like to use. I have no problem loaning out talent and have several guys out there already being used, I might have some other guys sitting around looking for work dates.
( Personally I thought the Soultaker was terrible, even in 1990 during his Japan tour and working in NAWA/SAPW in the Carolinas. He was big and green even over a year into the business, but that's no different than the guys Lawler faced throughout the 80's. You can't tell me that someone like Man Mountain Link or Goliath \(86/87\) were any better than the Soultaker at ANY stage in Wright's career, and they main evented.......
( Hey, just want to send this one out there. The ULL is being kind enough to send a match for ICW's Black Friday show on 11/27 \(the day AFTER Thanksgiving\). If anyone else would like to send a match, let me know. I have room for one or two outside matches since a lot of guys will be tied up in the 8-man elimination matches. ,I don't agree with that in the workplace. -David Brent \(as Eric Hitchmo\) )

It's been a while since we've had such a variety of top quality shows posted on such a regular basis! Commish that will cost you $1.49 which I will immediately forward on to the Ed O'Neill retirement fund!!!!
The reason for the 6 man reign of Soultaker, Lee, golden was to show that the title on any given night, even a SAT PROMOTION guys could win the title. With Gene getting backed up things never got to where they were going to go, but I think the Barr's and eddie are good champs for now.

( On a more serious note, one thing I don't get has been the big push given to the Soultaker. Here's a not-particularly-talented rookie nobody who was pushed almost immediately into a program with Hogan for the WCFL World Heavyweight Title after only a couple of matches. After that, he, the similarly untalented Brian Lee, and Mike Golden were pushed to the WCFL Six-Man Tag Team Titles. With all the talk on the board about how certain...
The Prime Time Players - "Playboy" Buddy Rose and "Outlaw" Joel Deaton - managed by Pat Patterson were my favorite "fun" mid-card gimmick in WCFL Mid-South. "Superstar" Sam Houston joining the stable was also really getting over right around the time I left - him demanding to come to the ring with only a spotlight shining on him. I have also enjoyed booking Virgil (and "Iron" Mike Jones in...
