I'm probably the only one, but I really liked the Karen character. She and Leland being so different created a good deal of fun. Very Very Old Man is my favourite episode, and the beginning, with Leland trying to make his office Karen-friendly, and making a "coffee-fall", and then the whole dialogue between them, was just hilarious.

One scenario that makes sense. New Trudy was writing a damaging piece on someone and they wanted her dead. She set up Monk's Trudy so they would leave her alone. Then she started calling herself TK.
