hello all! this is my 1st custom pc project. so yup first time i researched and bought each component i wanted from the MoBo to Ram,etc. anyways i have everything set up i think i just need to be pointed in the right direction. Just to make sure I understand, by "no signal" I you mean you aren't seeing anything on your screen? Even with no OS installed you should still get a signal to the monitor and you should see a splash screen which will usually have your motherboard's logo and you'll see something on the screen while the computer goes through POST. Are you hearing any beep codes when you turn the computer on? ...

1stly thanx for the quick reply UJB. 2ndly..no beeps at all, howevber that may because i discovered the case speaker is not plugged in.so im all over that. Next yes your assumption is correct, i have nothing on my screen. It says "No signal" then goes black and the power button LEd light goes orange...weird. i'll check out the beeps once i connect the case speaker. and get back to you. also ...

Check the CMOS jumper. Sometimes motherboard manufacturers ship motherboards with that jumper set to clear, which will prevent the computer from booting.

Looks like its trying to boot to your network card. Go into the BIOS and change your boot order.

hey stu tried to change the boot order of the network card didnt work. any other idea or maybe could i trouble you or anyone else for step-by-step instructions? lmk thanx again for your guys support as well.

Are you getting this error after having installed your OS or have you yet to install an OS? If you haven't installed an OS yet then you have no system disc and you'll always get an error unless you try and boot from a cd or dvd. If you have installed an OS and you're now getting this error, check in your BIOS to see if your hard drive is being recognized. If not then check the sata/ide/power...
