Started 3 months, 3 weeks ago by willowofwisp
I finally got my USP 9 compact, had to wait a week for my ffl to have it shipped from his distributor but it was worth the wait. So far i have put 156 rounds through the gun and am very happy with it. It will replace the glock 30sf in my others pictures as my EDC during the warmer months but once i put my winter jacket on ill be lugging around the 30sf. Ill be carrying it in my ...

The bullet at the top of the magazine in the first two photos is loaded backwards.

Congratulations! My USP9c is one of my favorites. Favorite for carry switches back and forth between that and my P2000SK.

Oh, like the HK catalog shot, right?

Nice, my brothers been wanting me to get one but I still want a G19, how does it shoot compared to your Glock?

willowofwisp replied 3 months, 3 weeks ago
well the glock is a .45 compard to the Hk being a 9mm but i prefer the Hk..i have shot numerous 1911's in my ppc matches and i really like the guns, so the Hk is what i think is as close as you can get to a 1911 trigger while still staying with a polymer gun, which is why i really like it. They both shoot great though, i like how its Da/Sa and has a decocker, i have been carrying it cocked and ...

They're equal in size. Fully loaded, the G19 is about an ounce lighter. Mine have been equally reliable, 100%. Durability, I probably ...

Looks great! I would like to try the 9mm version. I have one in .45

Congratulations, good choice. One thing I really like about the USPs is how they are designed to handle whatever you throw at them. What load do you like to use in 9mm?

What load do you like to use in 9mm? well so far i have shot 50 reloads of michigan ammo (local company) they were pretty nice, then i shot 6 corbon dpx (just to make sure my SD ammo would cycle) and then i put 100 rounds of federal (aka walmart ammo) through it. I have a large stash of various Ranger (115 +P+, 124 +P and 127 +P+) so I haven't tried the DPX but that sounds like a really good load from the expansion/penetration tests I have read.

Congrats on the H&K. Both the USPC9 and the Glock 30SF have their place as PD weapons. They are superb, and very capable when it come to protecting your life.
