Thread: New DT at Interbike

Started 3 months ago by craigstr
1 pound lighter, bent top tube, new dropout, steeper seat tube angle, new yoke. Will post some pics as soon as I can find some free wi-fi. Planet Hollywood wants $14 a day. Rides super sweet. Big refinements over the older models.

Biggest things I noticed are a more upright climbing position, a more centered position on the bike while going DH, and my heels didn't hit the chainstay bolts.

craigstr replied 3 months ago
Let the drooling begin. No changes to the Endo.

woodyak replied 3 months ago
Dropping an entire pound eh? Steeper seat angle eh? Are the chainstays still adjustable? HA adjustment is different as well, what's the deal with that? Any major geometry changes? Are the chainstays any different? Mine had a problem.

Ok, so it's lighter (1 pound) and sleeker with steeper seat tube. It looks sweet and rides more like a XC bike than it's predecessor. I'm going to try and give it a run at XC tomorrow to see if the climbing is that much better. It really makes the 180mm seem like 140mm. All that said, wifey's going to hate the next months CC bill.

Can't wait to see. Any changes to the Endo?

wow... Looks great, still very beefy.. Ride report? Please

FA-Q replied 3 months ago
Sweet! Looks less like a V-tach and more like the new DH frame... Any info on geometry, travel, dropout options, etc...?

Dirty D replied 3 months ago
Well damn, that's a surprise! Nice that they kept it under wraps for this long. 20 pages of e-masterbation and over analyzing gets ghey quick. Get some more shots of that baby.

No adjustable dropouts, it should be available in white, black, raw, and a few other colors per Noel. No V-Tachs to demo, the MTBR review was, well a MTBR review. Other thing I forgot to mention was that Noel said he is debuting a 5" XC bike sometime soon. New DT will accomadatea flush headset.

I think the raw looks pretty sweet. Its a good option and if they come out like the Interbike rigs, you'll have no complaints from me.

Good to see they are HS compatible without a dremel! I'm not sure about the chainstay stickers though--isn't that the first thing that gets armored on a bike?
