yeah i remember seeing those last year. i wonder how the wake rivals the SN2001s its "basically" the same boat. size, configuration, etc. just 20 years newer.

waverider83 replied 2 months, 3 weeks ago

I wouldn't pay 20K for that, its only 19 feet with 84" beam, direct drive, no gauges on dash. Its no better than a fiberglass fishing boat u could probably get for around 12K. The ballasts are probably bags that you have to fill by hose thrown overboard, lol. For 30K I would look for something used that is a proven winner with all the options, there are plenty of deals out there if you look....

It essentially is the same hull, so you know what to expect there; a proven awesome wake. There's rumour of a V-drive in the making, diesel nonetheless! Que??? Can you elaborate on that? I haven't seen 12k fiberglass fishing boat with a Mercruiser V8 and the wake of a Nautique 2001. If I'm correct PureVert is an option, otherwise I think it's preplumbed pumps ...

It has all the gages intergrated into one, like the Maliview, just smaller. I like the minimalistic purpose built quality of the boat.

Seems like a lot of money, but so do most wake boats. You can get a nice 2001 for around 10k, half that if you don't mind doing some work to get it really nice. If they could swing this boat for under 20k I would seriously consider one. I've put my I/O for sale and if/when it sell I'll probably be getting a 2001 unless I find a killer deal on another boat. I'd love a newer V-drive but it's not in...

I would be very interested in one of those boats if it was in the $20-25k range. At $30k I'd rather just buy a used wakesetter vlx.

I'm sure budget boats will be the next wave of popular boats. No one is buying the 50k+ boats on home equity like they used to. Prices for a new boat skyrocketed around 2002 and are at a point that simply isn't possible for many consumers to purchase them. Don't you think its funny to see a 1985 Nautique 2001 for $7000? That thing is 24 years old!
