Thread: "Never raced" - why does everyone say this in their ads?

I wrote this thread almost two years ago, and now have some more perspective on this topic. I bought a "never raced" bike from a 15 year old kid in the fall of 2007. Still own that bike, and it has been great. However I had to replace so many stuck bolts on that bike, had to clean a chain that had rusted from sitting etc. This summer I bought a harescramble bike from a Vet C racer.
