Thread: Need some help shopping ladies *wink*

Started 4 months, 1 week ago by MeniacleBrat

For those who have been to formal balls, you always see at least one guy who... when the formal portion of the evening is over... takes off his jacket and the back panel of his shirt is some fun/funky/etc fabric. First... if I were to google something like this... WHAT THE FREAK IS IT CALLED? ...

It's called a Party Shirt!! DH got one with mess dress while of course, in Korea for a det. Mr. Bo's in Korea will actually tailor it and send it to you if you have his measurements. Not sure how much but I can scan in his business card if you like. He will actually keep all your measurements pretty much for life...all you have to do is email him and it's made up fast and cheap. As far ...

YES!!!! Thats the kind of shirt I'm talking about!!! THANK YOU!! We're in Germany right now. I found a site that will make custom print fabric so I'm trying to come up with a design (dh wants all his patches on the fabric, and this site will let you design your own with no minimum yardage. I would really appreciate if you could get me a website or at least an email for Mr Bo's. ...

Hubby has the business card at work and will bring it home tomorrow. I'll just scan it in so you can have all the info. Lol...no problem! The shirts are hilarious, especially when you get a bunch of the guys who've had too much to drink and they start revealing what they've got. That website is pretty cool as far as making your own design...I love the idea of all of the patches on the ...

This is what I have so far. I know I'm still missing one or two patches (he's going to help me find them tonight). I would probably have it repeat on the half step setting so its not all dress right dress and looks a little more random. So, this picture, reapeating over and over on the back and on the sleeves.

I think he should get something cool (like motorcycles, or some really cool/funky pattern like your dh's shirt) but he's a bit of a dork when it comes to his patches. It would NOT surprise me at all if he wanted me to throw in the family coat of arms as well LOL

I mentioned last night to the hubby about the patch thing (he's a helo pilot) and that I could make him one with all of his previous squadron patches. He said for him it would go 1 of 2 ways. 1: everyone would think it was just the coolest thing or 2: everyone would rag on him...mine isn't much to be the center of attention so I probably can't end up doing that which bums me out because I think ...

You could always do it as a gift and surprise him lol

Very cool idea. I've never seen one of those before, but I tend to think dh would love something like that. MeniacleBrat, I take it you guys were at Ft. Campbell at some point, lol? We just left there for the second time back in May.

Every fall they have a huge bazaar here too... I plan to spend the next several months making some aprons, dryer balls, crayon rolls and anything else along those lines that strikes my fancy (and I can get a pattern for lol) and have my own booth next fall. However, I don't do diapers/covers (I have no patience for sewing aplix/velcro/etc lol), but that would be soooo cool to have all that yummy fluff selling like crazy lol
