quote Northern49 Do you really need a laptop for gaming? I mean, are you planning to play Crisis on the subway? Or... Flight Simulator on an aeroplane? Buy a rig for gaming. Save laptops for word processing and web browsing. If i weren't moving away i would definitely have bought a desktop instead, but unfortunately i need to be able to take my laptop to the occasional lecture, or ...
Yeah I suppose so. I always get really anal about it. I know how to protect my computer, its just when I have to keep up with so much I get overwhelmed, and having OCD doesn't help, because I sometimes can 4 times a day...Haha.
I do not want to overkill, because all I want is to play WoW, and maybe starcraft/diablo. I've found some for about 500-600 dollars that should run it fine. Is there anything that would run WoW at around $400? I found one thing for $395, but the offer ended last night and I wasn't sure on it.
quote hiigaran are you talking about the ANUS laptops? the one in that scambaiting scheme? oh man, that was the best. the scammer got scammed and the beiter got a nice big wad of cash and a death threat where the scammer threatened to 'dead him'. yeah. I literally rolled on the floor laughing when I saw 'ANUS'. I mean, woah. ANUS! and what if something brownish started coming out of the laptop? thats why I don't like...
That's definitely not stock voltage. But he used stock voltage for the last OC he did. (See his post) That's why if he starts increasing Vcore and upping the FSB now he should be able to pass 4Ghz. Or He could try lowering the FSB and increasing the Multi, which may allow him to pass 4Ghz with less voltage.

ok, so i deleted some documents and the documents went in the recycle bin. I then deleted the documents from the recycle bin but it doesn't get deleted. It just stays in the recyle bin. Whats causing the issue.
quote Smok3Dogg quote Player1 He could try lowering the FSB and increasing the Multi, which may allow him to pass 4Ghz with less voltage. So if i'm stable right now with a 205 FSB. What would i lower the FSB to? What FSB number should i start at? So lets say i lower the FSB to 202 maybe. And set multi to 19.5 to start. If it doesn't work. Should i up the Vcore until i get it stable? Then rinse and repeat until i find a nice...
I wont be able to fold for about 2 weeks now. I'm leaving uni for my winter break and moving in the process and I wont have my desktop on until I move into the new house .
quote Saransh Comsole quote Ohmycaptain I wish I had enough to buy a tesla super computer so it could handle Crysis at max 16xaa 2560 x 1600 resolution XD those aren't built for gaming. so I have doubts on that Not built FOR gaming, but they can sure as hell handle gaming. They are super computers - they do anything. They're made for science and extreme 3d rendering and shit for like big movies.
