Ok guys and girls here's the deal. I've been working out consistantly for a few years now and have made great gains. I'm Currently sitting around 213 with about 17-18% bodyfat. I'm looking to get down to about 10 % in the next few months. I've been trying to cut for the past month and while I have noticed a little bit of fat loss in my stomach and face I'm not satisfied with the results.
My...
I don't think lifting weights 6x a week is necessary at all. Muscles grow during recovery.
I would start a 3 day split consisting mostly of compound movements. The cardio seems good though.

2-3x a week for cardio. If you lift heavy cardio isn't really all that important. It also depends on what kind of cardio you do.

If you did moderate intensity running, I would do that 2x a week. If you do brisk walking, you could do that 5x a week (That's what I do). HIIT 1-2x a week.
But...

No one will really know it's right except you. You'll just have to tinker around with it for a while.
It took me forever to find ...
lol @ working construction/a trade w/ 60% protein, 15% fats, & 25% carbs. =S
@ least up the fats, & lower the protein. =S
i truly don't believe that anyone working labour should have more than 50% protein & less than 50% fats/carbs (your preferred source of energy, as protein is a horrible source of energy. =/)

^^ exactly and consider you're working your nervous system every time you train regardless of the body part.
I see no problem training 5-6 times a week though, you need to keep the volume lower as someone else mentioned. I train full body 6x a week and rarely train more than 40 minutes, but I don't do any isolation work at all, only compounds.
I'm cutting weight and still improving all...

Personally if you lift less, you can 1) lift heavier and 2) you don't have to be in the gym as much. The second may not be a problem for you, but a lot of people are pretty busy. Lifting heavy is good to do when you're cutting because it helps preserve and even build more muscle as opposed to...

To lose weight i would do 6 days of lifting a week. I think your diet it good and you just need to stick with it. I personally find it harder for me to lose weight lifting 3 times a week and doing cardio three. Just give everything a try and stick with what works for you
