Replying to: Need advice - please hi wrkghard and welcome to the board. It's nice to meet you. Only you and your pdoc should decide whether or not you are overmedicated. Your family/friends simply aren't qualified to make that sort of judgement about you. I take 5 bipolar meds a day and am not overmedicated. It all depends on the person. Hope that helps some!

Replying to: Need advice - please Hi there, It's medically proven that a cocktail(2,3,4 etc) of medications taken is the common way BP's are treated. I don't like the idea of it myself, even though I hate to admit after knowing how the brain functions that it would make perfect sence. Brain functioning is very complex. Its not a one way fix when your dealing with so many components. Tell him its stressful for you dealing with...
