95 with an FRPP short block, GT40x heads, 1.6 Crane gold rollers, Crane 2030 (I'm told but have my doubts, bought it with this engine in it and the guy wasn't all that knowledgeable) MAC shorties, Just changed to fox intake setup with a Typhoon intake, BBK 70mm TB, Lightning 90mm MAF with home made RAI, EGR delete, Smog pump delete, catted X, Dynomax turbo mufflers, T5 and 3.55 ...
3500+lbs. 95 GT with stock shortblock, 64cc GT40X heads, E303, and an Edelbrock Performer + bolt-on's went 13.10@105mph with bad 60fts. Would have gone probably 12.7-12.8 at that weight with tires or probably mid-low 12's in a lighter car on a tire. Not the best heads out there, but they are decent.

Bear in mind that all the data shows that, stock to stock, the Cobra, GT40 and Explorer all are within a horsepower or two of each other. The port job not only added a few peak hp and a lot of torque, but it moved the power up across the board. It is a very noticable difference in driveability.

Would the X-307 with 58cc chambers/178cc intake ports be to much for a stock cammed 302 with mild bolt-ons? (loss of low end torque not being a major concern). I was also looking at the Y303, but has the large 64cc chambers with smaller 160cc intake ports. I was curious if the 64cc chamber would hurt compression that much. The application is a road-race car with average revs in the 2500-5500 range. The X-307's are available from Jegs for...
