Just hang in there. After the tech gets the hard drive replaced you may never see another problem. I was on my third graphics card in 5 weeks. The last one has been flawless and have not had one problem otherwise.

For those interested, I managed to successfully install a Corsair TX-650 power supply and an ATI 5770 video-card inside my Studio XPS 8000 (Core i7-860, 8GB RAM, 1TB HD). Both units seem to be operating fine.  The 5770 has been overclocked to 960 core and 1325 memory on stock cooling.  It managed a 3dMark Vantage score of P10914. supremefive: I forgot to mention i installed an Antec Earthwatts 550watt PSU prior to the ram install. Was the second set of (3) 1GB ram the same as the set that can with the computer (DDR3 1006mhz)? if so, who was the manufacture of the ram? I know the dell 475watt PSU has a PCI -E 6 pin connector cable, did your video card require the pci-e connection?   All my ram is dell oem samsung and yes my video card does require the 6 pin...
