Sad news over the weekend. 1966 NASCAR Modified Division National Champion Ernie Gahan died Thursday at his Cranberry Isles, ME home at the age of 83. The New Hampshire native raced at his home track after serving two years as an Army policeman in Germany, racing in Sportsman until 1965. Driving a 1936 Chevrolet coupe in Modified racing, he won 15 of 71 races. He also made 11 Sprint Cup starts in the 1960's and won the Buddy Shuman Award...

Why is NASCAR over at Brad's pit (no pun intended) telling his team that he needs to be careful? NASCAR needs to shut up; if they don't want other drivers interfering with the drivers in the Chase, then they need to have 12 cars on the track, not 43.
