Thread: NAAS road 8am this morning

Started 1 month ago by patmartino
Is everyone who drives this road a moron. WTF are people thinking. No traffic in nearside lane and the middle and offside lanes jammed with dickheads travelling at 70mph with no space between them. A big Fcuk you to the stupid cnut in the 04 white Toyota Hiace for nearly causing 8 + accidents in the 4 miles I could see you.

Lucan road is a good one too... I love motoring along at 80kph in the nearside lane undertaking others who haven't a clue as to how to drive in a 3 lane roadway

Where's the Traffic Corp when you need them! Oh just remembered there only out on fresh bright sunday mornings shooting fish in a barrel. Tis like the Wacky Races out there.

I have been meaning to put up about this very subject. Why did we waste all that money on these road improvements to 3 three lane roads if all the fecking dopes in this country will only drive in the middle and right lanes. If they did a traffic survey it would show 90%+ people only drive in the middle and right land. I got a text from a friend one day who said " Dreadful shame to...

To all the people who read this topic KEEP LEFT, OVER TAKE IN THE RIGHT LANE ONLY, WHEN YOUR MANEUVER IS FINISHED MOVE BACK INTO THE LEFT MOST LANE AT ALL TIMES Quote: Using lanes properly It is very important that you understand the purpose of each lane on a motorway. To help explain how and when to move from one lane to another, each lane is ...

I drove back from Raheny to Leixlip last night along the M50 (coming off at Blanch) and I was able to drive in lane 1 the whole way except when I overtook some cars (who were in either lane 1 or they were in lane 2 overtaking). Everyone was keeping left, it was soooo weird - surreal! Then just before the slip for Blanch there was 08KK nissan tootling along in lane 3 - tosser!

I hate the idiots that merge and go straight across two empty traffic lanes and drive at less than the speed limit in the OUTSIDE lane.

Its a pity that noone outside this thread knows that there even are rules of the road. Will be driving the full length of the N7 from Naas to Limerick this Friday again, will let you know how I fare!

just wondering is it legal (if im in lane 1) to undertake cars in lane 2 if they are doing say 50-60 mph and im doing slightly more in lane 1? or should i technically move out to lane 3 and overtake?
