Thread: My screen is messing up

My screen starts to stall for short time. Then it repeats. During this process it seems to be placing me back to my previous place then letting me walk 5 meters then stalling. Any ideas what to do?

Tell your little brother to quit downloading warez while you play LotRO. Seriously, if you are in a multi-PC household, a user downloading large files can impact game performance. If that is not the case, you should try the troubleshooting steps in the sticky: http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?t=107727

Your problem is called "Lag," and we all suffer from it. What happens is that when you move your character, for some reason, the game client and the server disagree as to your location in game. This problem happened after I had updated my windows platform.

[laugh at people who still use Windows] If that is the case, then Windows might be downloading updates in the background, eating up your bandwidth. I recommend rescheduling your updates to download at a different time of day when you are not playing... say... at 8am, when you are working/in-bed/at school. Better still, turn them off completely. I recommend doing the same for any anti-...
