Update - I got a call from a captain from the Montgomery Police Department this morning. He said the Chief of Police forwarded him my letter and looked into it. He reviewed the tapes and found out who made the comment. It was interesting to find out that this person was already in disciplinary action and that's why he was assigned to a call desk. I was told that he wasn't going to be with the PD much longer, anyway. Further...

I wasn't talking about the LEO in my last post. I meant that I had a pistol, but the thieves stole that also.

Dale and I are so sorry to read this, Rob. This is a terrible thing to happen, but especially to someone like you. It really pisses me off. You're right, it could have been much worse, but it sucks terribly none the less. Someone stole a small toolbox with, thankfully, only a hammer and two bent screwdrivers, (Serves their asses right.),out of Dale's truck last night at his old house.
