Thread: My first Hard Cider

Just finished my first ever gallon of Hard Cider. My first hydro reading prior to fermenting was 12% sugar and SG of 1.050 12 days later I checked it and it was 0% sugar and SG of 1.000.....I think that means that the finished drink is 12% alcohol but not for sure....I had to end up added a sugar syrup to it cause it was to tart now its very delicious . I took some of it to my home brew uncle ...

Just finished my first ever gallon of Hard Cider.
