I'm 13 and my eyelid is always twitching. It's just started this past week - they're more like little trembles rather than my eyelid actually shutting and it happens for about 5 seconds quite frequently. It is SO annoying! What is it caused by and how do I get it to stop?

Oh my god I have the same thing some times! Usually it goes away in a couple of days so don't worry. It could be because you don't have enough sleep or something, or you're worried, or you're just really stressed about something.

Ohh. Its nothing. Happens to all of us. But just to remain safe contact a doctor. Don't get an appointment as yet, just tell him about your situation. I don't think its some kind of complication. Just people have some superstitions about such things. Nothing to worry bout. ;)

Tiredness. Eyestrain. Magnesium ( lack of ) Nerve damage. Those are all I can think of at the moment.
