I had to go to Wallyworld to fill a prescription, so the kid and I stopped at Sonic........we get home, and Cleo jumps up on the neighboring stool, salivating
to make Pavlov proud........and Darwin parks his front paws on my thigh............so they each end up with a french fry or two........no sooner do I crumple
up the food wrappers than they head down the hall to the computer room, and ...
My son moved back home this week, and with him, came his cat....and the litter box. He bought a gate to put in our hallway, that has a small door that the cat
can get in and out of, but the dog can't. Today, I was in my bedroom taking a nap and I heard Don yelling at the dog. The dog had somehow squeezed his fat
body through the cat door and was eating the kitty roca. Ugh. Now we're going to have...
Zombie, I used to have a lab mix with one of those iron stomachs. The dog
had an insatiable sweet tooth and no piece of chocolate was safe around
him. He also ate the entire cheese top off a tuna casserole, an entire tray
of sugar cookies, and half a strawberry cake. Not all at the same time, you
understand.
A baby gate should work unless the cat is too old to jump over it.
Zombie, the cat isn't too old, but he has dysplacia or something like that in his back legs, so he can't jump. But Don stretched out two of the bars
last night, so we can keep the door on it locked and the cat can still get through. As far as your dog eating the chocolate. I bet he gets the runs.
That's what happens to ...
Susan, the time Nick ate the three bags of Ghiradelli chocolate chips, he
not only had the grandmother of runs, he also threw up all over the place.
That was fun to get up to early in the morning.
She did when she ate the box of mint meltaways, but this time nothing. Maybe because milky ways are filled? Gracie is a lab also. Indestructible.
I'm glad you found a kitty solution susan!
{{{{{Pidge}}}}}} honest, I wasn't ignoring you. That's funny about your cat eating marshmallows.
OMG Helen, I can't believe he'd continue to eat that many chocolate chips. But then, Andy would probably do the same thing. I had a baby Maltese who
got into a bag of peanut M&M's. He ate half the bag and the only reason he didn't eat it all, was because he nosed it under the couch. He was
barking...
I was sitting in class yesterday and this girl next to me unwrapped one of those small Andes mints...the one with a layer of chocolate on either side and green mint in the middle. It took her five bites to eat it. I'm sitting there laughing to myself. Then she ate a muffin. It took her fully, one hour to eat the muffin. She would break off a few crumbs at a time, pop them in her mouth and then spend 5 minutes licking her fingers.
My mom is like that too, but she's also thin as a rail so I guess it has its merits. I'm a food inhaler, myself, and I have to really work to maintain my weight.
