Thread: My Dogs Are Food Sluts..........

I was sitting in class yesterday and this girl next to me unwrapped one of those small Andes mints...the one with a layer of chocolate on either side and green mint in the middle. It took her five bites to eat it. I'm sitting there laughing to myself. Then she ate a muffin. It took her fully, one hour to eat the muffin. She would break off a few crumbs at a time, pop them in her mouth and then spend 5 minutes licking her fingers.

My mom is like that too, but she's also thin as a rail so I guess it has its merits. I'm a food inhaler, myself, and I have to really work to maintain my weight.

Susan, the time Nick ate the three bags of Ghiradelli chocolate chips, he not only had the grandmother of runs, he also threw up all over the place. That was fun to get up to early in the morning.

I had to go to Wallyworld to fill a prescription, so the kid and I stopped at Sonic........we get home, and Cleo jumps up on the neighboring stool, salivating to make Pavlov proud........and Darwin parks his front paws on my thigh............so they each end up with a french fry or two........no sooner do I crumple up the food wrappers than they head down the hall to the computer room, and Whitney's meal........where they sit impatiently...

After hearing what some of y'all's mutts eat/have eaten, I'm glad I have cats (not that they don't have their gross habits...but...ew!).

Dark chocolate is more toxic to dogs, than milk chocolate. My Himi cat insists I share my Now & Laters with her. She eats most anything sweet.

Whenever I get an apple, my kitten wants to eat it too...its cute, but I have to toss the apple away....
