I am pretty sure my 5yo has it. It is going around her school. So far she has been coping well except for a short episode Saturday night so we have not had it officially confirmed by her doctor. Actually, we are not supposed to go to the doctor or urgent care- we are supposed to go to special H1N1 clinics, which I will avoid like the plague! I just got over the H1N1 and my DD and DF both had it as well. I really hope you and your husband dont catch it because Tamiflu is rather expensive. I would also get some masks and wear them while around your child, it may help you from catching it. Good luck.

I wish you the best of luck.  Your best bet to avoid contagion and contamination is to set up a "sick room" for your ill child and keep him away from the others (at least 6 ft) at all times.  Wear masks.  Unfortunately, chances are that you have all been in contact while he was contagious and pre-symptomatic.  H1N1 *can* be wethered through without Tamiflu -- it treats symptoms, not acting to...

I agree with Amanda. It is just a flu. Even if you get it, you should be able to suffer through it with little complications. I never go to the doc for any "cold" or "flu", because they always give you antibiotics whether you need them or not, and that just irritates me. DD and I were both sick last week, and we are both just fine now. Could have been swine flu. Who knows... Your body should ...

Wear masks.? Unfortunately, chances are that you have all been in contact while he was contagious and pre-symptomatic.?
