Hello There! I have windows 2008 server running Plesk with high mysql CPU load and very low memory. Server is a xeon quad core with 8 GB of memory. Is the load high due to heavy queries? How big is the database? Do you regularly perform database maintenance to keep the table indexes clean?

This is a webhosting server with 250 databases. The traffic is low. And querys don't seem to big, I don't the table indexes clean, can I do it for all databases at once?

So I talked to the tech support guys, and they told me that it looks like a common MySQL optimization problem. Try these optimization recommendations , and let me know if they help.

This is a webhosting server with 250 databases. The traffic is low. And querys don't seem to big, I don't the table indexes clean, can I do it for all databases at once?
