Thread: Muscle pain?

I have a client complaining of muscle pain in an area where she is treated for hair removal. Is there any correlation between hair removal and muscle pain? Is there any chance that if the muscle pain was a pre-existing condition that the laser itself could be aggravating it, making it worse? Thank you!

No, there shouldn't be such a correlation (unless you are pressing way too hard on the applicator). Neither the RF nor the light should get all the way through the skin, and all the way through the subcutaneous fat to get down to the muscle layer.
