If you went to Tech, you can join the Yellow Jacket Flying club, they have a piper aztec they'll rent you for $170/hr wet. I'm not sure if they'll let non-student/non-alums join. yjfc.org

action air multi ratings in Groton CT, 2 days of good wx and your in, out, done $2000 and $225 checkride, if you try you WILL pass, its designed that way, gets you about 5 hours in a seneca, but they walk you through the checkride

o&s aviation llc in NC has a me add program 2-3 days for $1850 7hrs of flight time and use of a/c for the ck ride. Good folks. This is their #336 266-3325

There is Multi-engine training down in Dallas texas, they have a ad in the back of Flight Training for $1400. After the hotel, travel and food you will be in the $2000 range. 4 hours of multi time in some junk twins that leak oil everywhere and then the lamest checkride you will ever take will get you a Crackerjack multi engine ticket. Fulton Aviation is the least expensive Fulton aviation has a Seneca for $100 per hour dry. You buy your own gas and you will be flying for under 200 per hour, plus the instructor. Time to complete depends entirely on how well you are prepared, and how current and proficient you are.

a side question for everyone......how about a ME rating thats cheap and can do it under 10 days. I'm helping a friend find a school. __________________ loving koolaid but looking for rehab help
