Thread: Mr. Rogers Statue unveiled in Pittsburgh, looks like its made of shit

Known as "Tribute to Children," the site featuring the new Fred Rogers sculpture is in a park on the riverfront near Heinz Field. The bronze sculpture, created by Robert Berks, is 10 feet, 10 inches in height and weighs more than 7,000 pounds. WTF man? I hope the city didnt actually pay him for that.

Pittsburgh has a history of this type of statue. Former mayor Richard Caliguiri has one very similar: Nobody liked that one at first either. The Fred Rogers statue does kind of remind me of the shit golem in Dogma.
