The question at hand is rather simple. What movies and/or series have you watched that have managed to make you cry?
I don't know if this is something many people care to experience, but I personally enjoy crying as a result of an engaging storyline.
I have only two entries that I care to add:
1. Naruto
2. The Last Samurai
Naruto, the entry that prompted this post, is an anime (...
I don't usually cry during movies, but a few have moved me to tears.
The Motorcycle Diaries : I watched it several times, and am still moved when I remember it... a powerful and beautiful film.
The Snow Walker : A little-known but excellent film about a young Inuit woman in the Canadian Arctic. She is an extraordinary heroine.
And I agree with you about the ending of The Last ...
I don't too. But lately I'm more easily moved ha!
Can't remember the old ones (since I don't tear so easily last time), but the latest one that moved me to tears was "Charlotte's Web" .
Touched me so much that I blogged about it, cos it's not just about the tears but about what I learnt from this movie.
Here's the post if you like to read: A Web Of Love: Charlottes Web

Hmm, sounds tempting to go buy one now... thanks for the recommendation Alex!
its hard to explain. but when you watch a really good movie it feels as if you are one of the characters in the storyline and that everything else that happens in the movie directly affects you. surprisingly, this emotional attachment arises from an hour or two of the film while you watch the characters develop. and then when you see the pain they go through, you feel exactly what they are going...
I have never felt so sad as in the movie ' Open Water ' based on the true story of 2 scuba divers on vacation. The couple go on a diving trip and when they arise, find themselves alone in the ocean when their diving boat abandoned them on a miscount. Acting was B grade, yet their predicament was so compelling and heart-wrenching (and so totally idiotically unnecessary), could not help but feel sympathy and grief for the loneliness...

As for me I prefer to usually wait for DVD, and by then I know what will happen haha. But movies that the first time I saw them and everytime I see them again, will cause me to cry: Old Yeller (Is there really a person out there who did not cry for Old Yeller?) Forrest Gump Mask Dances With Wolves (But only at the very, very end. When Dances With Wolves and Stands with a Fist are leaving and his head is down and you can feel his sorrow. Then,...
