Thread: Moton Street Sport Suspension Install Review
Started 3 months, 4 weeks ago by rldzhao
Hello all,
Today I installed the rear kit of the Moton Street Sport Suspension. I am still waiting for a bearing to arrive for the front kit, so that will be installed in a few days.
Install
For the rear kit, the installation is quite straight forward considering that this is my 4th time installing springs/shocks on the rear axle (H&R, back to Stock, Dinan, and now Moton). The ...
Thanks for the DIY. I have Dinan's kit and also want to go Motons, can you elaborate on your opinion to the change in ride quality and going from stock to Dinan to Moton?
Interested in how it does specifically with square edged hits, and if you use the lowest damping settings on the Motons does the car exhibit bounce or blow thru the travel/thud/botton on large hits?

Rates are predetermined but you can substitute if you want. I've talked to Moton & Bimmerworld and you can go with a race spring and camber plates if desired. I understand this is not a problem ...

One more quick update. If the weather holds out, I'll be at the track this Saturday. I was able to lower the rear of the car to get it close to stock ride height by removing the locking ring on the adjuster so I should be ok on track until my springs arrive. The rear shocks are still quiet but the camber plates are making some noise. I'll retorque everything soon to rule out installation error. Since the plates didn't come with...

The Moton pieces look really good. It is a shame that it is making noises. I had the same issue with my KW Clubsports and KW worked with me to find a solution. In the end everything was fixed and everything is running well. I hope Moton helps you guys and a solution is found.
