Modern Ithaca's now have a trigger disconect....I would think Mossy's do too.

try using acetone or denatured alcohol on the stock. take it off the gun first, and rub just a little on it in a place that won't be too noticeable incase it reacts bad to the plastic.

frenchy, I have an inthica feather weight (working on finding the history it was my grandfathers). the part I do not like is it is a 28inch barrel =( and it is in far worse condition than the example below...
