Great blog, that brings back some wonderful memories! I was so fortunate to be at the Gabba on this epic night. I remember when Zahid bowled his first ball, I looked at my mate sitting next to me and said "Wow that's fast!!!" We just were amazed at how lightning quick he was. I have NEVER seen a more hostile and faster spell. The entire crowd was behind Zahid as he was something none of us had seen before. Truly a sensational...

I would love to see clips of him play. Are there any?

I remember that series when zahid bowled to the windies. And my word did he bowl fast. I didnt see any swing or seam, but his speed was just unplayable. Was awesome to watch

Yeah, remember that game. Had Sir Charles hopping about all over the place. Extreme pace with bounce, a real joy to behold.
