iv driven quite a few things but the one that left the biggest impresion on me was my neighbores ariel atom,no body work plastic seats and 0-60 in 2.8 seconds everything else just seems tame in comparison.
2007 S320 CDI merc
Not very fast, handles well for its size and technology ridden
I gave a guy a shock on the oban road once. he could not believe that this barge could keep up with his chipped alfa brera coupe thing. then he was even more gobsmacked when 4 of my mates came out it with enough gear for a week!
Self stopping at lights, radar cruise control, 7 forward gears, 2 reverse...
I can't compete with the supercars on here, but I love my recently purchased Caterham HPC.
I did 750 top-down miles the first week of August despite the weather.
It's pretty quick (XE on 45s - 180 hp, 590kg), stunning round the bends and EVERYBODY seems to love it - I've have great comments/shouts from granddads to toddlers. People fall over themselves to let you out of side roads - it's a ...
Different cars for different reasons:
Audi UR Quattro Turbo - my first car with abs, my first turbo, and my first 4wd - still the best sounding car I've ever had.
Nissan Skyline R32 GTR V-Spec II - a relatively standard car at only 360bhp, but it had Nismo R-Tune suspension and was the best handling car on a smooth surface I've ever had.
Did some tests today and connected the car to the diagnostics. Could communicate with the immobilizer but no comms with the ECU. I checked the 109 relay and it is clicking when the ignition is switched on and the output of the relay goes to 12V so it looks to be Ok. Not sure where to go with this one Tom

I had a GTa 1.4 and it was pretty rapid. The car seemed well built and handled pretty well. We took it to france on holiday with 3 kids in the back, roof box and full of luggage and it never missed a beat! We came home with the car full of wine and beer as well. Admittedly the kids were little then so space wasnt an issue. Move on a few years and I bought a rover 100 kensington 5 door diesel .What a heap of crap!! The engine fell out on the...
should have kept it standard and just put the motor in. Would have been a right laugh i agree that Metros handle fookin well for what they are. Used to love driving them when i was a mechanic in the early nineties. Remember the turbo ones??
I had 2 metro's back in the day while i was building other cars and they were both mega fun to drive but completely mingin wrecks. Think i had the rat look 15 years early! Never really boke down tho Small peppy engines + go cart handling + worthless car = big fun! Like yours BTW, bet its rapid thru the bends

IIRC the SDi axle is related to the Austin Westminister, big healey etc, which, if it is used to be favorates with the Short oval racers and Drag racers as being pretty strong, and if my linage is correct, it was also fitted to the Sherpa, Some sherpas, notably Emergency services v8 versions were fitted with Quaife LSDs to give them better "OffRoad" ability!!! BUT not all emergency vehicals were fitted with the LSD
